IT resources at EPFL

 

 

 

At EPFL, IT organization is decentralized, DIT (IT Domain) offers IT services common to the whole EPFL community; more specific services are proposed locally inside Schools.

DIT offers EPFL members the following IT services:

  • Computing network, identity management and security
  • Virtualization, applications, storage and backup servers
  • High Performance Computing
  • Collaborative tools (e-mail, Web, documents sharing)
  • User advice and assistance (for staff and students), training, documentation, software distribution and hardware recycling.
  • Information systems (Web, projects and development)
